CVE-2023-42753 is an array-indexing vulnerability in the Linux kernel Netfilter subsystem. A missing macro permits an integer underflow when calculating the offset of the h->nets array. The resulting miscalculation permits out-of-bounds increment or decrement operations on a kernel memory buffer, creating a potential slab out-of-bounds memory access.
