Vitogate 300 version 2.1.3.0 contains a vulnerability in the /cgi-bin/vitogate.cgi endpoint, where an unauthenticated attacker can bypass authentication and execute arbitrary OS commands by injecting shell metacharacters into the ipaddr parameter within JSON data for the put method. This allows direct command execution on the underlying system without prior authentication.
