CVE-2023-52470 is a NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel DRM/Radeon driver. In radeon_crtc_init(), the driver did not validate the result of alloc_workqueue(). If workqueue allocation fails, subsequent use of the resulting NULL pointer can dereference NULL in kernel context. The fix adds return-value validation for the workqueue allocation before the pointer is used.
