CVE-2023-54114 is an incorrect offset calculation in the Linux kernel NSH Generic Segmentation Offload (GSO) error-unwinding path in nsh_gso_segment(). When an inner-layer protocol GSO operation fails after resetting the network-header pointer, the function restores mac_header using an offset derived from the modified network_header rather than the original MAC offset. The resulting mac_header can exceed available skb headroom, causing skb_push() to invoke skb_panic().
