CVE-2023-54402 is an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in iDocView's /doc/upload endpoint. A hardcoded default token value, testtoken, bypasses endpoint authentication and enables attacker-controlled URL retrieval. Unrestricted URI-scheme handling permits file:// requests, allowing local-file disclosure, and permits requests to internal hosts and services that may not otherwise be externally reachable.
