CVE-2023-7307 is an XML External Entity (XXE) injection vulnerability in Sangfor Behavior Management System, also referred to in Chinese-language documentation as the DC Management System. The issue affects the /src/sangforindex endpoint, which processes attacker-supplied XML input. Due to improper XML parser configuration, external entity resolution is enabled without adequate restriction. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can submit crafted XML containing external entity declarations and cause the server-side parser to resolve those entities. Depending on parser behavior and the runtime environment, this can expose local files, trigger outbound requests, and potentially enable additional XML parser abuse. The affected version range is not defined in the available information. The product is described as now being integrated into Sangfor IAM (Internet Access Management). Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-09-06 UTC.
