CVE-2024-0769 is a path traversal vulnerability in D-Link DIR-859 firmware version 1.06B01. The HTTP POST request handler fails to constrain a service parameter to an intended directory, allowing a remote attacker to supply traversal sequences and access configuration data outside the expected path. The affected router reached end-of-life in December 2020 and is unsupported.
