The flaw can be triggered by sending a crafted HTML email containing JavaScript embedded in an img tag, causing attacker-controlled script to execute in the context of a victim’s webmail session when the message is opened in the MDaemon web interface. The vulnerability affects the webmail rendering or HTML parsing path and enables arbitrary JavaScript execution within the user’s browser window associated with the MDaemon webmail application.
