CVE-2024-22768 is an improper input validation vulnerability in Hitron Systems DVR HVR-4781 versions 1.03 through 4.02. The vulnerability allows an attacker to perform network attacks if the device is accessed using the default admin credentials. The flaw is due to insufficient validation of user input, which, when combined with the use of default credentials, exposes the device to exploitation.
