CVE-2024-23917 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability in JetBrains TeamCity On-Premises that affects versions 2017.1 through 2023.11.2. The flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker with HTTP(S) access to a vulnerable TeamCity server to bypass authentication checks and gain administrative control of the server. Because TeamCity is a CI/CD platform with privileged access to projects, build configurations, agents, artifacts, and deployment workflows, administrative compromise can directly lead to remote code execution and full server takeover.
