CVE-2024-27046 is a NULL pointer dereference in the Linux kernel NFP Flower driver. In nfp_fl_lag_do_work(), allocation of the acti_netdevs array can fail when physical memory is exhausted. The affected code dereferences the allocation result without first checking for failure. The upstream fix validates the allocation result; on failure, it reschedules the delayed work for a later retry.
