CVE-2024-27199 is a relative path traversal vulnerability in the web component of JetBrains TeamCity On-Premises affecting versions before 2023.11.4. The flaw can be reached over HTTP(S) without prior authentication and allows an attacker to bypass intended access controls for a limited set of authenticated administrative functions. Reported abuse includes access to authenticated endpoints that should not be reachable anonymously, modification of selected system settings, limited disclosure of sensitive information, replacement of the server HTTPS certificate, and alteration of the HTTPS listener port. Although narrower in scope than the companion authentication bypass issue CVE-2024-27198, this vulnerability still exposes security-sensitive administrative functionality to unauthenticated remote attackers.
