CVE-2024-27443 is a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite 9.0 and 10.0 affecting the Classic Web Client’s handling of calendar invites. The flaw is caused by improper input validation and insufficient sanitization of calendar-related header data, including the X-Zimbra-Calendar-Intended-For header and the cif attribute used during CalendarInvite processing. An attacker can send a crafted email containing a malicious calendar header so that, when the message is viewed in the Zimbra classic webmail interface, attacker-controlled JavaScript executes in the context of the victim’s authenticated webmail session.
