CVE-2024-35835 is a double-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel mlx5e network driver’s accelerated Receive Flow Steering (aRFS) flow-table setup. When allocation of an internal object fails in arfs_create_groups, the error path frees the flow-table group allocation. Its caller subsequently handles the failure by destroying the flow table, which frees the same allocation a second time.
