CVE-2024-45114 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in Adobe Illustrator affecting Illustrator 2024 version 28.7.1 and earlier. The flaw can be triggered when a user opens a specially crafted malicious file, causing Illustrator to write outside the bounds of an allocated memory region. This memory corruption condition can be leveraged to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. The issue has been associated with Adobe Illustrator on Windows and macOS and is addressed in later vendor updates.
