CVE-2024-45735 is an information disclosure vulnerability affecting Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Secure Gateway on Splunk Cloud Platform. In affected versions, a low-privileged authenticated user who does not hold the Splunk "admin" or "power" roles can access Splunk Secure Gateway App Key Value Store deployment configuration data and associated public and private keys. The issue reflects insufficient restriction of sensitive configuration and cryptographic material within the Splunk Secure Gateway application, allowing users with limited privileges to view information that should be restricted to higher-privileged roles.
