ZimaOS, a fork of CasaOS for Zima devices and x86-64 systems with UEFI, exposes sensitive local files through unauthenticated API endpoints in version 1.2.4 and earlier. The disclosed examples include requests such as /v1/users/image?path=/var/lib/casaos/1/app_order.json and /v1/users/image?path=/var/lib/casaos/1/system.json, which return information about installed applications and system configuration without requiring authentication or authorization. The issue is an access control failure resulting in sensitive information disclosure via a user-accessible HTTP endpoint that accepts a filesystem path parameter.
