CVE-2024-50861 is a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in GestioIP v3.5.7. The vulnerable component is the ip_mod_dns_key_form.cgi request handler, where user-supplied input in the "TSIG Key" field is not properly sanitized or encoded before being stored in the database and later rendered in the web interface. As a result, an attacker can persist malicious JavaScript or HTML payloads that execute in the browser of a user who later views the affected data. The issue affects the application's handling of stored administrative or configuration data related to DNS key management.
