CVE-2024-54037 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting Adobe Connect versions 12.6 and earlier in the 12.x branch and 11.4.7 and earlier in the 11.x branch. The flaw is described as a DOM-based or reflected XSS condition in which a crafted URL or attacker-controlled input can manipulate a page DOM element and cause malicious script to execute in the victim's browser when the page is rendered. Exploitation occurs in the security context of the victim's authenticated browser session rather than on the underlying server.
