CVE-2024-54492 is an Apple vulnerability affecting macOS Sequoia, iOS, iPadOS, and visionOS. Apple states the issue was caused by sending information over the network without HTTPS protection, and that it was fixed by using HTTPS when transmitting that information. A remote attacker in a privileged network position could interfere with the affected network communication and alter traffic in transit. Fixed versions listed by Apple include macOS Sequoia 15.2, iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2, iPadOS 17.7.3, and visionOS 2.2.
