CVE-2024-58374 is an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the getSdutyTree servlet endpoint of Hongjing e-HR. The flaw is reachable because a remote attacker can supply a path traversal sequence in the request URI to bypass the oauthservlet authentication filter and access the vulnerable endpoint without credentials. Once the endpoint is reached, the codeitemid parameter is not properly sanitized before being incorporated into an underlying Microsoft SQL Server query, allowing UNION-based SQL injection. Successful exploitation enables retrieval of sensitive database contents, including user credential data.
