CVE-2025-10502 is a high-severity heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the ANGLE component of Google Chrome. ANGLE is part of Chrome's graphics stack and is used in rendering pathways such as WebGL and related graphics processing. The flaw affects Chrome versions prior to 140.0.7339.185 on Linux and prior to 140.0.7339.185/.186 on Windows and macOS, depending on platform. Available reporting indicates the issue is caused by insufficient bounds checking while ANGLE processes attacker-controlled graphics data, which can result in an out-of-bounds write on the heap and subsequent heap corruption. A remote attacker could trigger the vulnerability by causing a target to process specially crafted web content or malicious network-delivered graphics content.
