CVE-2025-12101 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Citrix NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway when the appliance is configured as a Gateway (including VPN virtual server, ICA Proxy, CVPN, or RDP Proxy) or as an AAA virtual server. Available reporting indicates the issue is in SAML response handling and can be triggered via crafted requests to logout-related functionality, including POST requests to /cgi/logout carrying malicious SAMLResponse and RelayState parameters. Successful exploitation causes attacker-controlled script or redirect content to be reflected to the victim browser, enabling execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the NetScaler web interface or redirection to attacker-controlled destinations.
