CVE-2025-12480 is an improper access control vulnerability in Gladinet Triofox versions earlier than 16.7.10368.56560. Post-installation setup and configuration pages should be inaccessible, but the access-control logic in the CanRunCriticalPage function accepts requests whose HTTP Host header is set to localhost. A remote attacker can spoof this header to bypass authentication, re-enter the setup workflow, and create a native administrative account. The account can then be used to configure Triofox's built-in antivirus engine to invoke an attacker-controlled executable or script when content is uploaded to a published share, resulting in code execution.
