CVE-2025-12659 is a remote code execution vulnerability in Siemens Simcenter Femap caused by improper validation of user-supplied data while parsing specially crafted IPT files. The flaw occurs in the application's IPT file parsing logic and can lead to memory corruption. If a target user opens a malicious IPT file, or in some advisory contexts visits a malicious page that triggers handling of such content, an attacker may achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current Femap process.
