CVE-2025-12734 is a low-severity HTML injection vulnerability in GitLab Community Edition and Enterprise Edition. It affects all versions from 15.6 before 18.4.6, 18.5 before 18.5.4, and 18.6 before 18.6.2. Under certain conditions, an authenticated user can inject malicious HTML into a merge request title, causing that content to be rendered in dialogs viewed by other users. The issue arises from improper neutralization of user-controlled content in merge request title rendering contexts, enabling attacker-supplied markup to be displayed in another user's browser interface.
