CVE-2025-21079 is an improper input validation vulnerability in Samsung Members prior to version 5.5.01.3. The flaw allows a remote attacker to supply crafted input that causes the application to connect to an arbitrary URL and launch an arbitrary Android activity with Samsung Members privileges. In demonstrated exploitation, the issue was used as the initial pivot in a multi-application exploit chain on Samsung Galaxy devices: after a victim clicked a malicious link, Samsung Members was coerced into loading attacker-controlled web content and then invoking another privileged Samsung application. The vulnerability is rooted in insufficient validation of externally influenced input governing URL handling and activity invocation within Samsung Members.
