CVE-2025-21334 is an elevation-of-privilege vulnerability in the Windows Hyper-V NT Kernel Integration VSP component. Available reporting identifies the flaw as a use-after-free condition in the Hyper-V NT Kernel Integration VSP driver. By triggering use of previously freed memory in this virtualization-related kernel component, an attacker can corrupt execution flow and obtain elevated privileges. The vulnerability was disclosed as part of Microsoft’s January 2025 security updates and was reported as being actively exploited in the wild at the time of patch release.
