CVE-2025-21680 is an out-of-bounds memory-access vulnerability in the Linux kernel packet generator (pktgen) subsystem. The get_imix_entries function performed an incorrect bounds check while processing IMIX packet-size entries supplied through the pktgen control interface. Supplying enough entries allowed indexing beyond the fixed-size pkt_dev->imix_entries array; UBSAN detected an access at index 20 of a 20-element imix_pkt array. The fix corrects the boundary handling so the IMIX array can be filled without accessing beyond its allocated bounds.
