CVE-2025-27144 is an uncontrolled resource-consumption vulnerability in Go JOSE when parsing compact JWS or JWE inputs. Affected versions use an unbounded string-splitting operation to separate token segments on period characters. A crafted token containing an excessively large number of delimiters causes disproportionate memory allocation while creating the segment list, enabling memory exhaustion.
