CVE-2025-27198 is a critical heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Adobe Photoshop Desktop affecting versions 25.12.1 and earlier and 26.4.1 and earlier on Windows and macOS. The flaw can be triggered when Photoshop processes a maliciously crafted file, causing memory corruption in heap memory. Successful exploitation may result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. The vulnerability requires user interaction because a victim must open the attacker-supplied file.
