CVE-2025-2749 is an authenticated path traversal vulnerability in Kentico Xperience affecting versions through 13.0.178. The flaw is exposed through the Staging Sync Server functionality and allows an authenticated user to upload arbitrary data to path-relative locations outside the intended destination. Because the upload path can be influenced via traversal, an attacker can write arbitrary files to unintended locations on the server. If the attacker uploads server-executable content into a web-accessible or otherwise executable location, the issue can be escalated to remote code execution.
