CVE-2025-34022 is a path traversal vulnerability affecting multiple Selea Targa IP OCR-ANPR camera models, including iZero, Targa 512, Targa 504, Targa Semplice, Targa 704 TKM, Targa 805, Targa 710 INOX, Targa 750, and Targa 704 ILB. The flaw is present in the /common/get_file.php script exposed through the “Download Archive in Storage” page, where user-controlled input supplied to the file parameter is not properly validated or constrained. As a result, an unauthenticated remote attacker can manipulate the parameter to traverse directories and read arbitrary files from the device filesystem. The issue can expose sensitive system files, including files containing cleartext credentials, and may enable follow-on authentication bypass and disclosure of device configuration or other internal system information. Exploitation in the wild was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-02 UTC.
