CVE-2025-34049 is an OS command injection vulnerability in the OptiLink ONT1GEW GPON router web management interface affecting firmware version V2.1.11_X101 Build 1127.190306 and earlier. The flaw is caused by improper sanitization of user-supplied input in the target_addr parameter processed by the administrative formTracert and formPing endpoints. An authenticated attacker can supply crafted input that injects arbitrary operating system commands into the underlying system command execution path. The injected commands are executed with root privileges, resulting in authenticated remote code execution and full device compromise.
