CVE-2025-37789 is an improper input-validation vulnerability in the Linux kernel Open vSwitch implementation. The Open vSwitch set() action could access the length of a nested netlink key attribute before verifying that the supplied attribute contains a complete netlink header. A malformed, undersized nested key can therefore cause invalid parsing of attacker-controlled netlink data. The upstream correction validates the attribute before its length is accessed.
