CVE-2025-37819 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's GICv2m interrupt-controller driver. With ACPI enabled, gicv2m_get_fwnode() is registered with the PCI subsystem as pci_msi_get_fwnode_cb(). The function is incorrectly annotated __init, allowing its code memory to be freed after initialization even though the callback remains registered. A subsequent runtime PCI host-bridge probe can invoke the freed function, causing a kernel paging fault. The issue is reproducible on a Juno board booted with ACPI. The fix retains the function for runtime use.

A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel irqchip/gic-v2m component affecting Rocky Linux 10.1 kernel packages. Security updates are available through CIQ advisory crlsa-2026_1690. The plugin reports exploit availability collectively but does not identify which individual CVEs have exploits.
A Linux kernel use-after-free vulnerability in the irqchip/gic-v2m component. The gicv2m_get_fwnode() callback is incorrectly marked as initialization-only, allowing its memory to be freed before a runtime PCI host bridge probe invokes it. This can trigger a kernel paging fault and is reproducible on a Juno board using ACPI boot. The reference assigns a CVSS v3 base score of 7.8.
A Linux kernel use-after-free vulnerability in the GICv2m interrupt-controller code. An __init-marked PCI MSI callback can be freed after initialization but later invoked during PCI host bridge probing, potentially causing a kernel crash or exposing confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts to a local privileged attacker.
