CVE-2025-39761 is an out-of-bounds access flaw in the Linux kernel ath12k Wi-Fi driver. In the error-handling path of ath12k_dp_rx_peer_frag_setup(), the traffic identifier (TID) was not decremented before peer cleanup. The stale incremented TID can subsequently index beyond the bounds of the peer receive-TID array. The fix decrements TID before peer cleanup when RX peer fragment setup fails.
