CVE-2025-43574 is a use-after-free vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat Reader and related Acrobat product lines. Affected versions include Acrobat Reader 24.001.30235, 20.005.30763, 25.001.20521 and earlier, with broader affected product families including Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC, Acrobat 2024, Acrobat 2020, and Acrobat Reader 2020 prior to the vendor-fixed releases. The flaw arises from improper handling of freed memory, creating a condition in which stale object references can be reused after deallocation. By inducing the application to access attacker-controlled data through the dangling reference while processing a malicious document, an attacker may corrupt memory and achieve arbitrary code execution in the security context of the current user.
