Affected versions include Acrobat Reader versions 24.001.30235, 20.005.30763, 25.001.20521 and earlier, with fixed releases including 25.001.20531 on Windows, 25.001.20529 on macOS, 24.001.30254, and 20.005.30774 depending on product branch. The flaw allows memory corruption through a crafted file, which can lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user when the malicious document is opened.
