CVE-2025-43892 is a buffer over-read vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS affecting FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.2, FortiOS 7.4.0 through 7.4.8, and all versions in the 7.2 branch. The flaw is classified as CWE-126 and affects the authd and wad daemon CLI-related components. An authenticated remote attacker can trigger the issue by submitting a specially crafted request that causes a redirect response to include a portion of device memory beyond the intended buffer boundary. The vulnerability results in unintended disclosure of process memory contents to the attacker.
