CVE-2025-49211 is a SQL injection vulnerability in Trend Micro Endpoint Encryption PolicyServer. The flaw can be used to manipulate backend SQL queries in a way that enables privilege escalation on affected installations. Available information indicates that exploitation is not purely remote and unauthenticated by itself; the attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system before leveraging the vulnerability. The issue is one of several related Endpoint Encryption PolicyServer flaws that may be chained to increase attacker control over the system.
