CVE-2025-49630 is a reachable assertion vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server mod_proxy_http2 affecting versions 2.4.26 through 2.4.63. An untrusted client can send requests that trigger an assertion when Apache is configured as a reverse proxy to an HTTP/2 backend with ProxyPreserveHost enabled. Triggering the assertion causes a denial-of-service condition.
