CVE-2025-53608 is a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSandbox affecting versions 5.0.0 through 5.0.2, 4.4.0 through 4.4.7, 4.2 all versions, and 4.0 all versions. Available reporting further identifies the issue in the LDAP server option, including affected builds in the 4.4.6–5.0.2 range. The flaw results from improper neutralization of input during web page generation, allowing attacker-controlled content submitted through crafted requests to be stored by the application and later rendered in the administrative web interface. Because the vulnerable input is persisted and executed in a browser context, the issue enables script execution within the authenticated FortiSandbox management session of a user who views the malicious content.
