CVE-2025-55148 is a missing authorization vulnerability affecting Ivanti Connect Secure before 22.7R2.9 or 22.8R2, Ivanti Policy Secure before 22.7R1.6, Ivanti ZTA Gateway before 2.8R2.3-723, and Ivanti Neurons for Secure Access before 22.8R1.4. The flaw resides in administrative functionality where server-side authorization checks do not properly enforce privilege boundaries between read-only administrative roles and higher-privileged administrators. As a result, a remote authenticated user holding read-only administrative privileges can submit configuration change requests for restricted settings that should not be modifiable by that role. The issue is consistent with CWE-862, Missing Authorization, and affects security-relevant management operations exposed through the products' administrative interfaces.
