CVE-2025-58487 is an improper authorization and security bypass flaw in the Samsung Account application prior to version 15.5.01.1 on Samsung Galaxy devices. The issue has also been described as an open redirect vulnerability within Samsung Account that can be abused by an unauthenticated attacker to force the application to navigate to attacker-controlled content. In documented exploitation chains, the attacker uses that redirected content to trigger arbitrary exported Android activities through Samsung Account’s privileges, including launching Bixby via a privileged entry point exposed to Samsung Account. This makes the flaw useful as a pivot between trusted Samsung applications and as a component in broader device-compromise chains.
