CVE-2025-67030 is a directory traversal vulnerability in the org.codehaus.plexus.util.Expand.extractFile method in Plexus Utils. Versions before the upstream fix do not adequately constrain extracted file paths to the intended destination directory, allowing crafted archive entry paths to traverse outside that directory. The vulnerability may permit arbitrary code execution in affected application contexts.
