CVE-2025-68686 is an exposure-of-sensitive-information vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS. Crafted HTTP requests can bypass a prior patch intended to prevent symbolic-link-based persistence observed during post-exploitation activity. The issue affects FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.1, 7.4.0 through 7.4.6, and all releases in the 7.2, 7.0, and 6.4 branches. It is a post-compromise patch-bypass vulnerability, not an initial-access vulnerability.
