CVE-2025-7784 is a privilege escalation vulnerability in Keycloak affecting deployments where Fine-Grained Admin Permissions v2 (FGAPv2) are enabled. Due to improper privilege enforcement in the administrative interface, an administrative user granted the manage-users role can bypass intended FGAPv2 restrictions and escalate privileges to realm-admin. The flaw breaks the intended separation of administrative duties by allowing a delegated administrator with limited user-management authority to access restricted realm-level administrative capabilities.
