CVE-2026-0028 is a critical Android kernel vulnerability in the Protected Kernel-Based Virtual Machine (pKVM) subsystem. The flaw is located in the function __pkvm_host_share_guest in mem_protect.c, where an integer overflow can result in a possible out-of-bounds write. This memory-safety condition can corrupt adjacent kernel memory and break intended isolation or protection guarantees within the pKVM memory-sharing path. The vulnerability is exploitable locally and does not require user interaction or additional execution privileges.
