CVE-2026-0625 is an OS command injection vulnerability in the dnscfg.cgi DNS-configuration endpoint of multiple legacy D-Link DSL gateway devices. Insufficient sanitization of user-supplied DNS configuration parameters allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands, resulting in remote code execution. The endpoint is also associated with unauthenticated DNS configuration modification, enabling DNSChanger-style traffic redirection. Reported affected models include the DSL-2740R, DSL-2640B, DSL-2780B, and DSL-526B; the full affected-product scope remains under review.
